Water Supply Intake, Victoria Island, CA
Contra Costa Water District (CCWD) is constructing a new 250 CFS raw water intake in the south Delta. The project consists of several major elements: an intake structure and a pumping station on Victoria Canal, a new setback levee around the intake and pump station site, an 11,000 feet long, six-feet diameter pipeline across Victoria Island and a tunnel beneath Old River. On the Byron Tract side of Old River, the pipeline will tie into an existing pipe adjacent to the CCWD’s Old River Pump Station. Hultgren – Tillis Engineers is providing geotechnical consultation on all phases of the project.
