Representative Projects: Marine Structures :

George Lowy Marina, Pittsburg, California - Hultgren-Tillis Engineers provided geotechnical engineering services for reconfiguration and marina dock replacement of the George Lowy Marina in Pittsburg.  Prestressed concrete guide piles were driven into the basin to secure the new docks. The floating docks will be connected to the shore on fixed piers. 

Shoreside improvements include constructing an anchored sheetpile bulkhead wall that retains backfill soils under a new Promenade.  The bulkhead anchorage system consists of horizontal tie-rods connected to a separate sheetpile wall.
