Petroleum Refinery and Manufacturing Complex, Martinez, California 
This 1,000-acre refinery complex converts approximately 165,000 barrels of crude oil a day into automotive gasoline, jet fuel, diesel, petroleum coke, industrial fuel oils, liquefied petroleum gas, asphalt, sulfur, and lubricants.

Hultgren – Tillis Engineers, under a task order contract with the refinery’s engineering design contractor, has provided geotechnical engineering services for numerous projects.  They include tanks, pipelines, pumps, flares, buildings, and a railroad undercrossing.
